About Jip
집 (jip) is home. Two friends and art enthusiasts, Michelle and Sophia, founded Jip Gallery, an apartment gallery recently turned curatorial collective, in 2018. Art can fill us with reminders of our physical and intangible homes because of the emotions it invokes. We hope to create a space filled with art that allows visitors to gently transport themselves to their imagined homes. We strive to lift up voices that are normally not given space in the art world, and work towards a more equitable world through the power of art.
